Despicable. He claims to wants to save lives by blowing up boats of suspected drug dealers. He has no regard for life other than his own and people who kiss his ass.

Time for blue states to withhold their federal taxes. Blues states carry the load.

Your last sentence exactly. I came here to add my comment, time to stop sending our taxes in.

Once more I repeat: Blue states should keep the federal tax receipts to fund the programs that Trump is denying to them...including disaster relief. Those funds going to Red states are coming from Blue states. Once, I was OK with that. No longer.

weaponizing federal disaster aid based on how a population votes is a form of voter suppression in practice, if not in law. It may not look like ballot-stuffing or voter purging, but it sends a clear message:

“If you vote the ‘wrong’ way, your community won’t get help.”

That’s coercion through fear and deprivation — the very antithesis of democratic governance. Instead of fair representation and equal protection, it creates a system of reward and punishment tied to political loyalty.

Trump just proved its effectiveness in Argentina with a $40 billion bribed to get Melie reelected.

Meanwhile americans play at their keyboards moaning for someone to do something... National strike now to shut down economy to force change... Are you ready or what is your better idea?

For Argentina the promise of improvement exists, but the outcome is uneven and fragile.

Definitely withhold taxes and use receipts of disaster funds withheld.

Miles,

It’s time for Democrats and other Americans, who are appalled by the Trump regime’s fascist onslaught and constitution trashing, to withhold paying all federal taxes until it ceases and all federal laws are being complied with by the executive branch.

And there are verifiable enforcement mechanisms in place to ensure that the states whose residents contribute the most to the federal treasury are not getting shafted out of federal disaster relief funds simply for voting against Trump. An indefinite general strike, with the same objectives, would also be appropriate at this time.

“Taxation without representation is tyranny!”

Not at all a surprise from the cretin who, just weeks ago, stated "I hate Democrats." There is no doubt he will continue to look for ways to punish those in blue states in the hope they will succumb and vote Republican; he is weaponizing every aspect of the government. The primary methodology of Trump is generating fear.

I have to wonder how withholding taxes by all who oppose Trump will impact the government.

Although I live in a red state, I will not be coerced by Republican efforts, voting blue when appropriate (and today, every situation calls for a Democrat, in my opinion) and joining the chorus to speak up and out.

Here in Northern Michigan we had a devastating ice storm last March that did more damage than a tornado did a few years back. It was an incredible disaster & it hit an area of the state that voted for the Felon. We also have a worthless GOP congressman representing the area struck. But I guess the fact that we have a Democrat Governor means we're not worthy. Sadly, I predicted he would deny FEMA assistance when it happened. Just this last week it was confirmed our area was denied. Elections do have consequences.

If you reside in a blue state, contact your governor, attorney general and members of Congress, asking them to withhold federal taxes. We will take care of ourselves and see what the red states think when their money is gone! And, impeach this asshole before he does even more damage.

Are there NO LAWS to prevent this? I understand that WE did not imagine a tr@itor in the WH (maybe our forefathers had, but we became complacent), before January 6, 2021, when the "full hand" was played. How many times have we had a regrettable tragedy result in this nation that people say they didn't think the individual was serious when they thre@tened suicide, expressed negative sentiments or intentions on social media, made deadly purchases that someone should have questioned, or sent someone a mysterious text message with potential consequences? HOW did MANY voters ignore what happened almost 5 years ago when the "leader" of the free world sent a mob to the Capitol on its most important day that occurs every 4 years? Please WAKE UP and smell the aroma, misled voters, because what you smell isn't a heavenly brewed coffee but a hellish stench of bull crap that has infected our democracy with a de@dly bacteria that has most certainly led to our democratic republic's demise and well on the way to its de@th.

REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS BY AND LARGE ARE PURVERYORS OF DEATH

I can't believe that selective relief based on politics can possibly be constitutional, much less lawful. And unethical not to mention immoral - lives will be lost. We are one United States and separating us for disaster relief is tantamount to civil disobedience.

Well, living here in California & especially living in a decidedly Blue Community, Santa Cruz, I have no illusions about the petty, disdainful, dictator who claims the right to destroy the economy, the East Wing of the White House (my guess/possible prediction, the "West Wing" will probably be next.) & blow people out of the water on his say so.

~~~ There MAY be a silver lining, of sorts, that will blow up in his face. Many/most Blue States send more money to the government than do the Red States. We'll have to keep that money for ourselves, won't we? So his precious Red States will still suffer & it doesn't stop there. The economic impact of ignoring all those Blue States will have the rest of the country reeling from that impact. So sure, donny, be the spiteful little boy we all know you are. Go ahead & see where it gets you when our farmers can't farm, our ports close down, & don't forget your precious techno-boys have quite an interest out here in California, or will you "carve out" help for them because you OWE them!
Unfortunately, red state or blue state the money ran out on September 30. There’s been no future funding and they gave over $100 million of the money that was there to pay for alligator Alcatraz. And. Over 1000 deals don’t close every day in real estate transactions because they can’t get flood insurance through the national program because that’s also unfunded
It is past time for blue states to take care of themselves first—-no more funding of a corrupt federal government. Do NOT send any more taxes to Washington. This is beyond ridiculous. All this fucker wants is people to kneel to him; it makes him feel powerful. Please, Democratic governors, do not give him the satisfaction.
No doubt, and what Trump doesn’t understand; states are dependent and each other for trade. Destroy one blue economy, and it won’t be long before the other states are affected.
Not to mention, blue states pay for the welfare states (red—welfare queens). When blue states have to use their reserves for natural disasters, it also has a negative impact on their economies which leads to fewer tax dollars going to Washington.
Trump can steal from the treasury and lower taxes for so long before his “house of cards” collapses faster than a cheap lounge chair! IMHO…:)
