If Seth Meyers is so bad and inept as a comedian, why is he even watching him, or even paying attention to him? Better he should spend his time actually doing his job, as inept he is at doing it when he takes the time to do it rather that hosting parties and building a ballroom that NOBODY wants or needs but him.
It is so unbelievably easy to live rent-free in that vast, but tiny, tiny, tiny little space between his brains and his tender little psyche. Every time this happens, hatred and contempt for him just multiplies. What a pissy little snowflake of a man.
I love Seth Meyers & his "Closer Look" segment is spot on! I think I'll write to NBC Universal & tell them that it's folly to try to get along with trump. It's like being feeding frenzy when sharks smell blood in the water! It doesn't turn out well for anyone except the biggest shark because in a feeding frenzy the sharks eventually turn on each other. THAT can't come soon enough. We saw it at the end of WWII when Hitler, cowardly & with his insanity more apparent every day stayed in the bunker while his "loyal" followers turned against him.
Maybe best folks like me operate in the comedic shadows. I don't think the Orange Man will be attending our next musical "The Stable Genius" but would love to cast him in lead role. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohCaOlsLFxc
It seems Trump’s television watching is all focused on discovering negative statements about him. Clearly, he has zero sense of humor; late night comedians excel at revealing his failings in an entertaining way. He could focus on actions to improve things in the country but, of course, since he’s not making any such actions he has nothing else to focus on other than hate and his self-perceived “greatness.”
The CBS 60 Minutes interview was yet another example of his failings. Rather than watch, I chose to read the transcript. Boasting about himself in made up “facts,” blathering on about his grudges, and simply dancing around any potential answerable questions with the typical Trumpian word salad, it went as expected.
The “interview,” if we can truly call it that - I feel sorry for Norah having to put up with his constant interruptions and failures - was a waste of time for the viewing pubic. If they don’t know what he is by now, they’ll never get it. No doubt the MAGA contingent pulled the wool over their own eyes.
His regime continues on the course it started on, destruction.
What I appreciate most about the popular and talented comedians (Kimmel, Colbert, Meyers, Stewart and crew) is that they refuse to be intimidated. They model what it means to punch up and not give in, which can be a lesson to us all. I also find it encouraging. In those moments when I want to erase the fact of my existence and hide under the bed, they give me the courage to keep going.
Then there’s Jimmy Fallon, who responded to intimidation by saying he would go after both sides equally. Ah, yes, the cowardly “both sidesism” approach that gave us trump in the first place. 🙄
Everything the 2 year doesn't like he now called illegal. If it is ACTUALLY illegal, he ignores it, targets it, or calls it legal. But then again, he also says he is above the law, can sh00t someone on 5th Ave in broad daylight and get away with it, or sends a suit to SCOTUS will will affirm him and confirm his assertions, smh.
Just read a story today about a man in Tennesee (I think) who was arrested for posting an anti-Trump meme on Facebook. The county sheriff is MAGA. The poor guy just got out of jail, after the charges were dropped - two months later. That scares me more than DonOld trying to prosecute Comey.

He needs to keep chipping away at free speech until it’s gone.
Then you wouldn't be able to write what you just did.
On the plus side Stewart. Whenever he's watching Seth he's not destroying some part of the Constitution, democracy or the White House.
He’s already done all those things.
Their is still enough left, he's not king yet!
Guess I'm a hardcore criminal.
I've been laughing with the elected convicted felon and spreading the word on how ridiculous he is since way back before 2016.

Can't wait to see this weeks ratings for Seth Meyers
Great MSNBC interview!

I have both books and read the second one. I will be listening today and tomorrow to your podcasts.
Thank you for all that you're doing.
No it isn’t!

I figured as much. I was just waiting. He's SO SICK that I can't stand it. >>:()
