Each time I participate, I bring at least a dozen or more people with me. If we can all do that, our pro-democracy movement will become increasingly hard to ignore. But the most important facet of these experiences is the sense of solidarity. People who feel frightened or isolated attend the rallies and suddenly realize they are not alone. It is empowering.
