But I have a request. PLEASE… can influencers and media outlets focus on positive, inspiring and action motivated topics.
Everyone is beating a dead horse. If they voted for Biden they voted against Trump. We don’t need anymore “it’s fascism now.”
We need to organize a nationwide movement.
In Poland in the 1980’s, a powerful anti-authoritarian movement called “Solidarity” grew to ten million of its citizens…30% of Poland’s population!!!
No experience with democracy.
In 2024, 30% of those who voted for American democracy is 30 million. If you add 30% of eligible voters who didn’t vote that’s another 30 million.
We have 240 years of running democracy. And we have millions of Americans who lead organizations, trade unions and other groups who are filled with experienced people.
How about harnessing our collective expertise and experience to
self-organize and form non-partisan social networks to defend what we hold dear and launch non violent offensive tactics?
Raise people's hope
Give them insight
Tap their anger & disgust
Fortify their resolve
Activate them
People trust the professionals & tradesmen they know. They trust nothing else.
All of us collectively in our fields need to empower them with their own insight like...why the NIH cancelled funding for cancer will eliminate their child's survival chances Or how closing FEMA will make them homeless & bankrupt.
The courts, peaceful protests, strikes, or boycotts should be used but professional nonpartisan movements are more sustainable and powerful.
